Add catchy content to your site. Focus on your key areas of expertise, and display them professionally. Much like you would do when having potential employers contact references, put your best foot forward for potential clients. Include descriptions, where appropriate or necessary.
On 2015’s Inc. 500 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, something stood out about the retailers. Nearly all of them, companies that were growing by 1,000 percent or more, had websites that looked a decade out of date. Like, a homepage. Maybe a few links to products. Why? That’s because, these days, such retailers don’t use their own sites much. They build their businesses on platforms–eBay, Walmart.com, Overstock, and especially Amazon.
The company still makes money from books and it is not limited to the marketplace. Amazon business model has been diversified to include many online book retailers, book catalogs, comics’ distribution platforms, and other books and e-book services.

No, you can only add your item to a listing if it’s the same product, an item can have multiple sellers of the exact product, but you can’t list different items under one listing. You’ll want to create your own listing with your product’s name and UPC number, and market it as a better version of the competition. Many Amazon sellers start out shipping Amazon orders themselves. Plus, many established ecommerce sellers ship all Amazon orders from their own warehouse. Amazon calls this Fulfillment by Merchant or FBM.
Don’t use jargon. If you are offering technical expertise, include descriptions that appeal to your client base, not your peers. For example, if you are showing that you can code with PHP and AJAX, don’t say “in this case, if the input field is empty (str.length==0), the function clears the content of the txtHint placeholder and exits the function.” The person who needs you to work on their site will just scratch their head and say “huh?” Say, instead, “Start entering text into this field, and it will auto-complete.”

Some items I do make some money. Many of my products are under $20 and I most definitely lose money on those. Profitable ones have to be over $25 to make money.
