Unfortunately, it does not. However, you can use Fulfillment by Amazon to ship and manage the inventory of your product, which lets Amazon do the work for you. There is a small fee per item. Items above 300 units of your local currency (dollars, pounds) are free to ship with FBA.

This is good news, because foreign persons are not subject to U.S. income tax withholding if performing the work outside the U.S. Of course, you may stillhave to pay tax on this income in your own country. And if you set up a US-based corporation or LLC, that entity will be considered a US “person” and therefore subject to paying income tax.

If you have set prices for your services, it is best to be transparent about them. If your fees are individually based, then state that. Explain your expertise and success in the business on your “About” page. Be sure to have a “Contact” page with your information so clients can get in touch. Once your website is ready, all you have to do is market it.

Print a packing slip and address label. You can do this by clicking the “view your current orders” link in your seller account and then clicking on the “print packing slip” link next to your order. The packing slip provides the address the item is to be sent to and a summary of the order.

I read about this same thing happening to another seller and what he did was so awesome. He did 2 things. First he raised the price of his product really high and then ordered it from that eBay seller. He placed 10 separate orders back to back. When the eBay seller went to buy and ship the product, he found out that he actually would be losing money. He didn’t want to have a string of cancelled orders because his metrics on eBay would be bad and they would ban him. He begged the guy to cancel his orders and promised to never do that again. The other thing the seller did was switched his Amazon listing to zero units available and again, he went to that eBay seller and made multiple orders back to back. When the eBay seller went to order from the Amazon seller, there was no inventory. So ta-da! You don’t even need to bother Amazon or eBay. Just take care of it yourself just like this seller did.
I don’t recommend just finding stuff around home, that’s just to test the waters and see how the process works 🙂 My course covers in detail how to find products that you can sell. Of course, that is the hardest step of the business.

Amazon does not reveal much about its marketing approach in its annual reports, but there seems to be a focus on online marketing channels. Amazon (2011) states “we direct customers to our websites primarily through a number of targeted online marketing channels, such as our Associates program, sponsored search, portal advertising, email marketing campaigns, and other initiatives”. These other initiatives may include outdoor and TV advertising, but they are not mentioned specifically. In this statement they also highlight the importance of customer loyalty tools. They say: “while costs associated with free shipping are not included in marketing expense, we view free shipping offers and Amazon Prime as effective worldwide marketing tools, and intend to continue offering them indefinitely”.
Once the technical parts of the site are set up, you will need to choose an overall design for your website. This includes setting up the theme, headers, product categories, and more. You will also need to organize your products into categories, and decide whether you want to include sections such as About Us or a company blog to attract customers to your site.
The next time you buy some humdrum product on Amazon, pause for a moment and check the Other Sellers listed on the right side of the page. That lip balm? Thirteen vendors offer it. Those vitamins? Twenty. As you click and shop, a battle rages in that little box, fought every day by entrepreneurs like Vagenas and Tramunti on practically every one of Amazon’s 410 million product pages.
